Presentation

Who?

Since 2009, The WorkStyle Magazine has made its mission to be present at the epicenter of  changes in our work-related culture, to explore new frontiers, and to report back to its growing readership – averaging 80’000 plus per issue between Top Managers, HR Directors, Strategic and Organizational Consultants, Head Hunters, and Academics – through the pages of an engaging, stylistically rich publication.

What?

Now, in 2012, The WorkStyle Magazine launches the first edition of Best Work Style, a yearly award that will be presented to companies whose activity and conception of the workplace best reflect the Work Style spirit.

Best Work Style is a journalistic award: its goal is to give visibility to remarkable efforts, draw attention to fresh approaches and innovations, and illuminate new possibilities; participation is 100% free of charge.

Why?

Best Work Style is an unique initiative that puts to the foreground a new conception of excellence, based on five carefully balanced criteria: identity, emotion, architecture, environment, and organization. These have been developed by the magazine during its editorial journey and sharpened thanks to Milan’s 2011 Workstyle Talking – an event that has seen the participation of over 150 professionals from a wide range of fields.

When?

Staring February 2012, candidates will be asked to fill a questionnaire focusing on the five Work Style criteria. A jury of experts will select a winner, as well as one distinguished company for each of the criteria. December’s issue of the magazine will feature extensive coverage of the award, as well as focus articles about the winners.

Join us and take part in the 2013 Award

Would you like to be one of 2013’s "Best Work Style" companies?

To participate, fill our questionnaire and submit it to us before October 1, 2012. Here is how to proceed:

15 questions

The questionnaire is composed of fifteen questions, divided in five categories (corresponding to the five Best Work Style criteria). Please answer concisely, but do not hesitate to offer concrete examples.

A picture is worth a thousand words

For each category, we ask to illustrate one of your answer with a photograph. This is not an absolute requirement, but we encourage participants to use this opportunity to tell us more about who they are and what their “work style” looks like.

How to submit your answers

You have two options:

  • You can answer to the questions directly in this Word document, and submit it, along with the photographs, to award@theworkstylemagazine.com; please include your company’s name in the subject line.
  • If you prefer you can also fill in the online questionnaire (below). Please remember to send the photographs in a single e-mail to award@theworkstylemagazine.com; please include your company’s name in the subject line.

Submissions deadline

The deadline for all submissions is October, 2012.
